                            BIOGRAPHY  

Ratan Tata ji was born in Bombay ,now Mumbai during the British rule on 28 December 1937.He is the son of Naval Tata who was born in Surat and later adopted into  the Tata Family and Sonoo Tata ,the niece of Tata Group founder  Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata. .

When Tata was 10 ,his parents when separated and he was subsequently raised and adopted by Navajbai Tata his Grandmother and widow of Ratanji Tata.His father name was Naval Tata  and his mother name was Sooni Tata .He graduated from Cornell university college of Architecture with a bachelor's degree in Architecture and the Harvard Buisness School through a management course he completed in 1975 .

















                                     

Ratan ji got his first job in TATA Steel in Jamshedpur .At that time he used to live with the labourers and spend his time with them only .Ratan ji used to sleep on the floor along with the laborers and as the Labourers  used to stand in line and take food .Similarly Ratan ji also also used to take food standing in the line of the Cafeteria .


Ratan ji took TATA Motors to a new height ,he also listed TATA Motors in Newyork  Exchange Stock so that It could get international power recognition. 




               RATAN TATA AS A PHILANTHROPISTS

Ratan Tata ji  is also one of the largest Philanthropists in the World having donated around 60-65 %of his income to charity .

 RatanTata ji is a supporter of Education medicine and rural development and considered a leading philanthropist in India .

 Ratan tata ji donated a lot of money at the Corona Time .

.Tata steel donated Rs10  Crore to the CM fund  Jharkhand .

.During Corona times Tata Groups company started distributed nutritious food worth 50 thousand rupees to the people in Jamshedpur.

.During Corona times food packets products were being distributed in many areas of Odisha by Tata Company .

  .During Corona times the food prepared to the Taj hotel Mumbai would go to the BMC hospitals and the doctors and patients would be served free of cost .All this was happening from the side of Tata Company .

Ratan Tata ji prefers to donate 65%of his earnings .Ratan Tata ji name is not listed in the world richest person .Despite having so many companies like Tata Steel ,Tata Chemicals .Tata Motors ,Tata teleservices etc. Ratan ji is not in the list of world richest personality because more than half of the money of Ratan ji goes to the Charity. 



                                      ACHIEVEMENTS 


Ratan Tata ji received the Padma Bhushan in 2000  and Padma Vibhushan in 2008 ,the third and the second highest civilian honours awarded by the Government of India and he also received the highest civilian award of Assam  "Assam Baibhav" in 2021 for his heart felt contribution  towards furthering cancer care in Assam.

                   THE UNHEARD STORIES OF ELIZABETH   Elizabeth used to give a signal in a certain way through her handbag and it was strictly forbidden to touch Elizabeth's bag .
