Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Mahi)

MS Dhoni was born in Ranchi ,Bihar (now in Jharkhand). His mother name is Devaki Devi  and his father name is Pan Singh Dhoni .Mahendra Singh Dhoni 's hometown is in Lwali village of Almora district of Uttarakhand . Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a sister and a brother .his sister's name is Jayanti Gupta and his brother's name is Narendra Singh Dhoni . 

His (MS Dhoni)father,Pan Singh Dhoni has retired from MECON .It is a public Sector enterprise under the Ministry of Steel .Dhoni's father worked  there at a junior management position .

Pan's Singh wife Devaki Devi  was a house wife .

 Dhoni   was also very fond of playing Football .   
                                    

Dhoni also loves playing Badminton .








                                                       Childhood

In the Begnning Football was his (Dhoni) favourite sport ,at that time he was less inclined towards cricket .He was such a good Football player .He was so good at Football that he was even  given a chance to play at the District and Club level .

                                       

                                               Turning point in his life 


Dhoni used to play a goalkeeper in the Football Team .Seeing his hardwork and his eagerness to do things the coach of the Football team  told  MS Dhoni to try his hand  at cricket .At that time Dhoni was not so fond of Cricket ,but when got the opportunity he done his(Dhoni) marvelous job as a wicket keeper in his Cricket team .and impressed his coach a lot with his performance .


And with this  superb performance Dhoni became the regular wicketkeeper of the Commando Cricket Club .After this excellent and strong performance in  Commando Cricket Club ,He was also selected for the Vinod Markand Trophy under 16 championship where he performed tremendously .

Till class 10th he played Cricket in a simple way as he had to concentrate on studies along with Sports .After class tenth he started giving all his time to Cricket because he felt that Cricket is the only game in which he can do something good .


MS Dhoni also worked  as a ticket conductor at Kharagpur  railway station .His roommate told that he is so nice and humble to everyone .They says that he was very good at heart and always gave good suggestions to other .




                                             Funny story's of Dhoni life 


Dhoni was always known for his funny behaviour .once he  covered himself with a white sheet and roamed whole night in the colony .Some people and the guard saw a man covered with a white sheet  and his hair was long and he(Guard) were assured that the ghost were roaming in the colony . and the next day the news become very big .

He was also working as a ticket conductor in the Railways and at the same time remained a part of Ranji Trophy .








                                

                                                        Achievements 


Showing excellent performance ,he also made his (Dhoni) place in the Bihar under 19 squad .While playing in the Jharkhand team ,a member of BCCI ,Prakash Poddar noticed  Dhoni's amazing game .

 Prakash Poddar selected Dhoni to play at the national level .Prakash Poddar has also been  a former captain of the team .MS Dhoni first success was when he got an opportunity to play for the India A Team and was sent  to Kenya for the trial series .MS Dhoni did an amazing and excellent performance in this series .He scored a half century against Pakistan and helped the team to win the match .



Then Saurav Ganguly eyes fell on a great game of Dhoni and also BCCI coach Sandeep Patil saw Dhoni's match and appreciated him (Dhoni) and also recommended him to make a place in the Indian Cricket Team .This was the reason Why he was given the opportunity to play against Bangladesh because of his excellent performance but Unfortunately his performance against Bangladesh was very poor .MS Dhoni performance in Bangladesh  was nothing special and he got out on zero .


But  then again He (Dhoni) got a chance to play against Pakistan and he came back with his good and strong performance .And in the fifth match of the Pakistan ODI, he played a strong innings .He scored 148 runs in 123 balls and he scored a century and He also led India to victory .




   

It is one of the highest score as any wicket keeper batsman have  in that day .






In 2007 World  Cup  when he (Dhoni) got out twice after scoring zero runs .People showed their anger and ransacked his house in Ranchi .


Dhoni also showed his strong  performance in the Afro-african cup and was selected for the role of vice -Captain .



                                                   Victory as a Captain 







The important time in his life came when he was given the opportunity to play World Cup 2020 and along with that he was also selected to play the role of captain .and over again he proved this time also and led India to victory in the first T20 World Cup.


                                    

And Dhoni did not stop here with his restrained mind  and with his cool  mind nature he played the role of a captain in the 2011 World Cup .and won the 2011 World Cup for India .He never gives the credit of his victory to himself but he gives the credit of victory to his team .


He has led India to victories in all the formats whether it is ODI Series , T20 World Cup or Test Matches .

Mahendra Singh Dhoni married Sakshi  in 2010 and today they also have a baby girl named Ziva .



Their daughter Ziva was born on 6 february 2015 .

Dhoni is also the brand ambassador of many  well known companies .Some of them are Oreo ,Red bus ,Go daddy ,Dream 11, Cars 24  ,Bharat Matrimony ,Mastercard India, Sound Logic ,Zed Black Agarbattis, Gulf Oil India etc ..

This film is based on his hardwork  and  struggle and some of the main elements of his life are also depicted .and the film name is MS Dhoni  (The Untold Story ).Well known late actor Sushant Singh Rajput played the character of MS Dhoni in the lead role in this Film . The film was released on 30 September 2016 by Fox Star Studios and received the widest release ever for a Bollywood film across 61  Countries .It is the fifth highest grossing Bollywood film of 2016 in India .


                            Indian Premiere League (IPL)


Under the Leadership of Dhoni Chennai Super Kings have won the IPL(Indian Premiere League)  trophy Four times IN 2010,2011,2018,2021. 

Chennai Super Kings is a team in IPL (Indian Premiere League ) And  MS Dhoni was brought by CSK (Chennai Super Kings ).

His favourite actor is John Abraham .He likes John Abraham very much and in the earlier stage of cricket he (MS Dhoni) has long hair too like John .


He is also very much in Love with the Bike  .The way John Abraham likes bikes .MS Dhoni enjoys riding bike in his spare time .
