SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JI PART-1

                                                 INTRODUCTION                                                          

Swami vivekanand ji was born on january 12 ,1863,calcutta now (kolkata).vivekanand ji original name was Narendranath Datta .Datta also spelled Dutt.His father name was Vishwanath Datta.and his mother name was Bhuvaneshwari Devi.He has two brothers Bhupendranath Datta and Mahendranath Datta .and one sister swarnamoyee Devi.

                                             CHILDHOOD DAYS 


 

Swami ji was very religious ,since from his  childhood  and used to have visions .





In 1871 at the age of eight Narendra (swami vivekanand ji) entered high school due to his exceptional intelligence .

                                                       



                                            COLLEGE DAYS                              


In 1879 ,Narendra within a short period of time,
graduated from high school from first division .Narendra entered the presidency college of calcutta for higher studies .

                                        


 

   When Narendra (Swami vivekanand ji) heard about Ramakrishna ji 

Narendra joined the general assembly's Institution founded by the Scottish general missionary board and later known as the scottish church college .It was from Hastle,the principale of college and the professor of English literature  that he first heard the name shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa .He (Narendra) was very influenced by Brahmo Samaj ,and its philosophy and not so religious at that time .

                             Who was Ramakrishna Paramhansa ji ? 


Ramakrishna paramhansa ji was born on February 18,1836.Ramakrishna parents belonging to the Brahmin caste ,were poor ,pious and devoted to the tradition of their ancient religion . He(Ramakrishna ji ) began to meditated on gods and goddesses .His father's death which left the family in certain circumstances ,deepened his spiritual mood .and he was a great devotee of Ma Kali ji and considered her divine mother .He had  tremendous love for Narendra .

When Narendra (Swami ji) realised the power of God ?


 Narendra (swami ji) did not believe in his guru first and was in constant tussle .but soon he realised the core philosophy of hinduism that his Brahman .Ramakrishna ji put all his effort in Narendra and began transforming him . soon he realised the power of god .

                              Turning point of Swami vivekanand ji 

Narendra further learnt that religion is a vision .which at the end transcends all the barriers of caste and race and break down the limitations of time  and space .with immense knowledge of vedas ,upnishads ,purana ,yogas he attained the god qualities .His appereance was like god  and everybody was fascinated by his  intellect .
