                          Achievement  of Swami Vivekanand ji 


Swami vivekanand ji considered the whole world as his family .He considered the whole world as his country .He said that truth is one but people adopt different methods of reaching truth .


Ramakrishna Paramhansa ji who was the guru (teacher )of  Swami ji .Ramakrishna ji declared  Swami ji(Swami Vivekanand ji )  as the head of all his disciples .


Swami ji travelled on foot to different parts of indian subcontinent for many years .The whole of India became his home and all Indians were his brothers and sisters .







When Swami ji gave a speech in 1893 in the world parliament of  religions  Chicago ,America .After his speech the world recognised India .and his speech was praised by  many newspapers of America .When he adressed the people of America as "brothers and sisters" .The whole hall there erupted with applause .In his speech he preached Gita and also propagated Sanatan dharm .This speech brought a big change in his life .Now his followers have become even in foreign countries .people wanted to hear him .



For about four years Swami ji gave interpretations in many cities of America ,London ,Paris also .He also travelled to Germany , Russia , and Eastern Europe .He taught Vedanta to the people .Buddhism also had a great influence on him .


Swami ji founded the Ramakrishna mission at Belur math on 1 may 1897 .He (Swami ji) said "The service of poor as the service of god "Swami ji passed away on 4th july,1902 ,but his thoughts will always inspire us.
